She is not qualified for the position she basically screwed up the last position she held so I guess the Peter Principle applies here. The obvious question is why is she in the position  and the answer is twofold. One she is extremely loyal to Bushie. Two she is black and will make an excellent running mate for the 2008. The Republicans are grooming her as an answer for Hillary Clinton. The Democrats can call her Aunt Jamima all day long but you can bet that the GOP will carry more than 19% of the black vote with her on the ticket

Agree. Bad choice for the cabinet position.  A brilliant woman, but a complete snake.  She will do what she is told, and is well under the thumb of Herr Bush.  Potentially dangerous as well; we'll have to see. Colin Powell is a gentleman, and thinks on his feet..hence he gets chopped (no surprise, I think he was planning to leave anyways because he disagreed with Bush admin decisions and said so quite blatantly).  Now we get the "other" token A.A. cabinet choice..the one who can be controlled with puppet strings.  BTW..she's not really Black.  Looks can be very deceiving.
