It's almost 6 a.m. here - haven't got to bed since yesterday yet. Tigger is sitting on my lap as I type - don't recognise his relative, but he's got lots! Our eldest daughter Alyssa has got the vomiting wog from hell - has upchucked at 5-10 minute intervals all night. I've been following her around with the disinfectant - we are all very tired...

My next job is to help my husband tube feed a very sick calf. Discovered it in the paddock a week ago - dehydrated and totally out of it. Have given Vitamin B1 and B12 injections, antibiotics (it had a uterine infection as well) and electrolytes. Thought it was going to die yesterday - it had a fit - convulsed and carried on. However, it has apparently survived another night, so more electrolytes need to be administered. Kids and cows...!!!
