Yeah, saw that somewhere else.  Pretty scary if that's a representative statistic. 

Apparently in Germany, history classes in schools discuss the Holocaust in great detail, and there are TV blurbs on a regular basis, some of them quite graphic.  It's part of a government effort to educate young Germans about the country's past, lest that dark chapter be forgotten.  

There also is great awareness here with the Holocaust museums etc...So what's up with the English??   Doesn't make any sense...just like Lee's post reply..senseless.
