I didn't think you'd have a response to my question missyrichardson. The holes, my friend, are yours- not Darwin's. Like most right-wing ideologues, you parrot ideas- like your statement above- regardless of whether or not they make sense, whether or not you really believe them, or whether or not you even understand what you're saying.
The Republican Party and right-wing "theologians", depend on your sense of self-righteous indignation and your barricade mentality to keep their grip on power and to further their agenda. In fact they do their utmost to keep you whipped into an "I'm mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" lather. What they fear is people with knowledge, people who question them, and people who think for themselves; all qualities you seem to disdain.
You're certainly free to condemn yourself to a life of intellectual laziness and religious superstition. Just leave Darwin (and us) out of it unless you're willing to back your cliches up with some facts.
