She came to the decision mainly out of concern over animal cruelty. She's an animal lover and didn't really think it fair to raise an animal just to kill and eat it.

That's the issue that bothers me most of the time.  I have great trouble divorcing my love of something like great BBQ from the source of that meal.  Then, just the logic or illogic of the whole thing.  Like why are we still slaughtering animals, when there's another choice.  Then, with that thought, I miss a great burger.  I s'pose I need to see a good shrink. 

Hot 'Lanta eh?   Haven't been there in ages.  I remember it was enormous.
