This summer Wisconsin is hosting both the Am and Pro world championships of disc golf. The Ams are competing right now in Milwaukee, while the Pros start on Sunday up at Highbridge. We are expecting 300 players from around the world at the Pro events.

I'm taking 11 days off to go help staff the event. I'm working on two player parties, plus making sure that there are concessions and lunches avaialable for players, fans and staff. For one party we are roasting two 130 lb pigs. The deli that is preparing them stuffs the beasts with saurkraut and chopped up bratwurst, then smokes and roasts them overnight. Wash that down with some of the finest microbrews in the world and you will understand why devote Muslims and Jews are out of their minds.
