I've been confined to a chair for nearly 7 yrs. I'm quadriplegic, and in these years I've experienced wonderful acts of kindness and assistance from a great many people, I've also experienced the exact opposite. People have literally pulled their kids to the other side of sidewalks or mall walkways, people have stood in front of be in elevator lines when stairs were adjacent,or very close by. The staring no longer affects me,but the reactions still make me shake my head. It isn't the lifestyle I anticipated, but it is now and it can be very difficultRegards,
