Thanks for the rant on RS Gene, I couldn't agree more. If any of you are looking for music magazines, Check out the following:

1.) Paste, US mag that concentrates more on the singer/songwriter format. Excellent CD sampler with each issue. It has been championed numerous times on this board.

2.) Word, UK mag written by real fans of music. Excellent articles. This is what Q use to be like, before they went Top 40.

3.) Never, I mean never would I waste money on rags like Rolling Stone or Entertainment Weekly when I can walk into any newstand and read what I need to in two mins. So sad what RS has turned into and ET has allways been pure mass market fluff.
