I dunno Eric.  I don't pay any attention to Moore for the same reasons I dismiss Limbaugh. They're both obnoxious, offensive windbags, but spouting from opposite sides of the fence.

As for the sarcasm, wit and humor etc. I don't really think that works for someone that wants their ideas to be taken seriously.  Consider Dennis Miller.  He's much better at railing against politicians (usually from the left) using humor and wit than Moore could ever hope to. And while he sprinkles his anecdotes with plenty of truth, nobody (including himself) considers him to be a leading spokesperson for conservatives.
