As a certified lurker, I thought I could respond to that...

I've had a wonderful afternoon sitting with my husband, watching our two gorgeous girls perform in their end-of-year ballet concert. I've been moaning for weeks about the constant rehearsals, sewing bees etc., but to see it all come together into something magical was fantastic! Our house (and all those within it, including me...) is dusted with glitter, and there are a couple of sets of discarded wings, tutus and lots of ribbons lying about (they were faeries), but there is a residual warm glow...nice...

I finally get to think about Christmas - hope you all have a good one! The forecast here for Christmas Day is in the thirties (Celcius that is...) - not like the snow depicted on our Christmas cards and that you really experience.

Like EEE, I hope people don't leave the board. I have zero interest in politics, so much of that discussion goes over my head, but there's a very interesting group of people assembled here, and it would be a shame if they dispersed.

Oh well, enough rambling - it's time for bed after a very satisfying day!
