First up, hello again to everyone. I had an awesome holiday - seeing many old friends - getting hugs from my family - sleeping in my old room - getting drunk on champagne - seeing the stars - feeling like a tourist in my hometown - oh, the list just goes on.I also enjoyed the respite from this board. I got back last night and took a little time this afternoon to read what I missed. I can't say I'm sorry I wasn't around. On the plane from Philly to Charlottesville, VA - I thought a lot about why I started this site and why I've continued to keep it going. I thought about how I would feel if it were gone and who I would let down by doing that. In the end, I decided that it's rather simple. It's fun. A diversion from the hum drum. An outlet for creativity. And the place where I've met some pretty great people. And altough, some of these things ceased for me right before I left - some didn't. I can only think that others feel the same way about this place. And for that reason, I think it's worthwhile to keep the lights on around here.Ok, well...it's almost 80 degrees here in Miami and I'm missing the cool (cold!) West Virginia breezes. But it's nice to be back.Dan
