No, I haven't seen the pink house ad. What's it about?
I'm sure Dean is fighting back. One thing you can certainly say about the guy is he's a fighter. I'm confused about his status though and I'm not sure the media is painting us a clear picture of his situation. I mean I think he's a bit of a lightning rod and is being used in different ways by different factions...sort of a power struggle within the DNC.
Right now I have to say, after looking at this group and reading about them I feel that Kerry is the best man for the job of the bunch. And really I think by a wide margin. The only problem I've had with Kerry is that I have worried that he won't come across well on tv and people might find him too stiff or cerebral. I really feel though that of the options we have he's the best.
I like Dean and he's very interesting to watch and as a speaker he's certainly got the most fire. He's very direct and I think people really like that. He seems to be facing an enormous uphill battle though. I have to admit being very taken with his sort of outsider status...it seems to be both a strength and a weakness. He also seems to be the anti-Clinton candidate as Lieberman and Gephardt seem to be fighting the hardest over which one of them is the most like Clinton...while Clark is the Clinton endorsed candidate for the most part.
I think who the best man is may be seen as secondary to who is most likely to beat Bush. At this point I think the best man is clearly Kerry and I think at this point nobody is really certain who of the Dems has the best chance to defeat Bush.
