I know these questions were asked of Kevin G but he and I tend to agree on many of these same issues so here are my answers, for what it's worth.

I hope Kevin G will answer them as well at some point.

Do you truly believe that Pres. Bush and his court did not mislead the US into going to war in Iraq?

No I do not. Not yet, anyway. I believe his actions were based on information he received from many intelligence sources. It's beginning to appear this information may be incorrect. For that reason Tenet and others should be fired. The fact THAT hasn't happened really concerns me.

Do you truly believe that he is a president for everyman?

Yes I do. More so than our last three presidents.

Do you truly believe that his tax cuts are not mostly for the very wealthy?

Yes I do. The wealthy pay >90% of all taxes. It's impossible to cut taxes to those who don't pay any or very little.

Do you truly believe that even if the military is getting a 7% increase every year any of it is going to the people and not going to more weapon experimentation and implementation?

I think you're asking if it's right to have all the majority of this money going towards weapons research and developement rather than to the troops? I'd have to say I believe it should. Billions of dollars has been spent on technology which has created "smart" weapons. This type of weaponry has prevented the loss of thousands of lives and maybe even prevented other acts of aggression from other rogue countries. Not only have they saved the lives of our own troops but innocent civilians as well.

When I was 13 our local movie theater was going to show the movie "Prime Cut" with Lee Marvin. It was a pretty risque (sp?) for it's time and being teenager with raging hormones I really wanted to see this movie with the rest of my buddies. My mother got wind of this and said "no way". I couldn't understand why I couldn't go! My buddies were all going. Why couldn't I go?? I was going to look like a fool. I didn't understand so I hated her( for about a week ;-)).   I was sooo mad. Years later I realized she did the right thing. That movie was not meant for a 13 yr old. I believe Bush is trying to do the right thing. Sure it makes us mad. But I believe he knows a hell of a lot more than we do on certain things and he makes his decisions accordingly.

Time will tell who was right and who was wrong. If I'm wrong and it becomes evident we we're lied to and decieved for no good reason then I'll be first in line with the tar and feathers. But for now I believe he is looking out for all of us. Only time will tell.
