I honestly can't recall ever agreeing with him on any topic but here-to-fore I've never found him to be disrespectful or inappropriate in any of his comments. While I found his latest salvo unconscionable I don't think he is deserving of the "star-razer" label.
Since I've gone archive-happy lately I will cheerfully provide evidence for my submission; a previous tangle between he and DB whereby Kevin responded to a polite but firm request to leave the board.
