Might I suggest that you use eBay to pre-sell the subscriptions? You could list ten of them at a time and stagger them every few weeks. The auctions can be structured with the “buy now” feature so that the bidder is only paying a flat rate. The listing costs can all be recovered through the shipping/handling fees.

This would be a cheap and easy way to reach thousands of fans. With a spiffy and informative listing it could really roll. The site has an excellent search capability, so that every musician and songwriter credited could trigger a hit for someone searching.

I believe that if that site were used it could push hundreds of copies. This would be helped further is anytime any of those involved are interviewed they plug the fact that copies are available through eBay.

By going this route it would also be easy to establish a paypal invoice system that would allow for easy and safe international and credit card payments as well.
