Yeah, I'm not looking to upset anybody but when we get into this stuff and people start saying all kinds of stuff like "We had to go get Iraq because they violated UN resolutions" it's just laughable because when have we ever given a shit about UN resolutions...and the answer is of course "Only when it benefits us and forwards an agenda."

I think from Mick's point of view, living in the shire where "the troubles" have played out over the years...Americans probably look a little like confused children who just woke up when they start spouting off about "War On Terror" and all that nonsense. Not to mention, these guys (Rummy and friends) installed Saddam in the first place...then had their buddies American companies sell him all kinds of nasty goodies he could use to turn people into hamburger meat or worse and now they strut around saying crap about how they just made the world a better place taking him out...what are we supposed to overlook or forget that you created him in the first place?

It's just all so insulting to have them piss all over everbody then hand out umbrellas and say "Hey, use these while we piss on you now. You won't get as wet." 

That's great.

Now...here's something to show you where these guys are coming from and what exactly the priorities are...Bushco wants to spend $1.5 billion to promote healthy marriages...by everyone with half a brain's assessment a complete waste...and they say they can only put $1.9 billion into improving shipping port security...which security experts say is nowhere near enough...because they don't have the funds to do so.

BUT...we have the funds to spend $145 million on an anti-marijuana campaign....announce we want to build moonbase Bushco...put men on Mars...grant amnesty illegal aliens and open the doors of the country to any others that want to come here to work...which by the way goes against all of these wacko Homeland Security plans...so what the hell are they saying with that? That they give up? Raise the white flag...that's it it's over? We can't fight preemptive wars if we're doing so on trumped up bullshit we laughingly refer to as "intelligence"...

All of this stuff reeks of Karl Rove-ian political manipulation...it's was Rove's plan to grant amnesty to all illegal Mexicans during Bush's 2000 Presidential campaign to not only get Bush the immigrant vote but to make "white people think he's a caring guy"...that got squashed because people inside the GOP told Rove that plan was insane...but guess what, we're in an election year...Rove is now in the driver's seat...and that plan has been not only resurrected but expanded...I'm sure part of that is Rove flipping off the GOP and saying "Hey, I'm the genius here that got Bush elected."

Still nothings changed...people think the plan is insane but what are they gonna do now? Rove is steering the ship...sit back and enjoy the ride.  Thank you Turd Blossom.
