From the same Republican leader who brought you 'stupid liberal Jews': GOP Congressman Dick Armey is now accused of using his congressional authority to supress dissent.

According to Armey, the Dallas Morning News engaged in 'vicious unprofessionalism' when it did not present his son Scott in a favorable light. Scott Armey recently lost his bid to replace daddy in Congress. As a result, Dick Armey attempted to insert into a defense bill language which would require the News' owner, Belo Corp, to divest itself of part of its Dallas news interest. Apparently the GOP's newest response to 'liberal slander' is to make unfavorable reporting illegal.
