This is hitting the news today....http://www.boston.com/dailynews/045/world/Rebel_assault_routs_Iraqi_secu:.shtmlIt's about the daylight attack where 20 Iraqis were killed and prisoners released by insurgents - in broad daylight. Then, the new Newsweek reports that the US is getting ready to turn the guarding of borders over to the Iraqis and that the Iraqis do not have nearly the people, training or equipment to take this on. There is also a report that American soldiers are consolidating their bases dramatically. My question is, is something happening that is not being covered well by the media? Over 300 Iraqi police officers have been killed and with the recent killings of Iraqi's, something seems to be going on. The Newsweek report on the controlling of the borders is very frightening when it comes to our troops and their safety over there. I just can't put a finger on what may be happening.....
