True. But the point I tried to make is this; prejudgement is an instant opinion based on emotion and very few facts. We form an opinion based what we've already experienced and what we think we are seeing or hearing. I've met very few people who have been correct in  their initial prejudgements. Me? I'm always wrong. Maybe that's why I like to think I'm very open minded and reluctant to prejudge. For example, if I was asked to form an opinion of you based only upon your posts here on this board, my opinion would be less than flattering. But since I've had the opportunity to meet you and talk to you I have a very different opinion; a far more positive and accurate opinion. Two very different opinions of the same man. One opinion or prejudgement is obviously very wrong.

What I see happening here is most posters have already formed an opinion regarding (enter favorite topic here). Do they have all the facts? Are they completely sure, beyond a shadow of doubt? Of course not. Yet they are completely convinced they are right and NO ONE is going to convince them otherwise. This is what has been bothering me lately; too many people with their hands over their ears and shouting "LA LA LA LA LA LA". They WANT their prejudgements, opinions and beliefs to be correct. For them there can be no other alternative.

Scary.
