Well, Massachusetts is a state that always falls to the Democrats in the presidential election that's true. The people here though prefer a Republican governor. We currently have Mitt Romney and he's been campaigning for Bush. We also had Bill Weld. I think the thing is the people of Massachusetts are old fashioned New Englanders and are also very educated and independent. And they love their politics like they love their sports teams. So, for the most part I think we (as a whole)always vote for the guy we think can do the best job or the guy we believe we need to initiate change.

I know the idea for Bushco will be to paint Kerry as Ted Jr. but that's a long way from the truth. They do want to generate the "myth of the Massachusetts liberal"...but I would hope you would ignore that "noise" and try and look at what's really there. As in the case of Kerry being accused of attacking Bush's choice to go into the Guard...it never happened but only two days ago while watching CNN I saw someone from the right say it yet again...and yet again someone from the left corrected him but yet the "myth" continues.

I would hope you would ignore it the way I've ignored the endless Bush National Guard stuff. My take on Bush is based on what he's done and is doing...not hate or love or any other emotion...or loyalty to one side or the other.
