Let me just give you a quick and simple idea of what they are generally like...in the social sense and with regards to equal rights for all, yeah, they are very liberal. They can and will come up with ideas that have at their heart what they feel is best for everyone but at times these ideas can be fairly off the mark. You just can't legislate what's best for everyone because even if you have a beautiful idea...not everyone will see it that way and in truth that's not fair. Good intentions cannot always be transposed to legislation.
The other thing that will define them is that they are in general, hardcore fiscal conservatives. The frugal New Englander is still alive and well.
In truth the thing that bothers me the most about Massachusetts is the cost of living here. It's off the charts.
