Mick...Hobbits are exempt from the desert thing.  You get bannished to a cave in middle earth with nothing but stalactites and stalagmites to keep you company...but remember...it's better than the alternative.  And that brings me to the question of the day...do stalactites or stalagmites grow from the ground upward?
