A Serious and Sincere Question for Our Bush Supporters...

Before I get to the question...a point....last night on one of the talk shows, G. Gordon Liddy and Al Franken were on. What a huge suprise it was to hear Franken say that while he and Liddy are 180 degrees apart when it comes to their beliefs, the two of them are great friends. I thought he was pulling one. But then they brought on Liddy and he repeated the same thing. And lo and behold, it was true. Liddy said he has been in Franken's home many times. I bring this up because that is how I perceive things should be here. While there are disagreements, hopefully there is mutal respect on each side...My question is this....9/11 is now growing on three years ago. We are now underway in the election year and all of a sudden many assests are now being utilized to go after bin Laden. 2,000 new marines are being sent to the area; new planes with technology to find bin Laden have been sent and other methods are being used.Are you not dismayed or concerned with why this was not done on 9/12 of 2001? Why has it taken almost 3 years to utilize more troops and equipment? Is it as simple as election year politics? From my side, all of this should have been done years ago. We should have flooded that area, captured that prick long ago and dealt with him. I'm just bothered a bit by this timing and wonder about the sincerity of it.
