You mention something that has always bothered me and like you said, why the heck to all these politicians run from stuff that won't destroy them. You know, that old saying that it's not the act that will do you in, but the cover up.

I don't get it either. Own up to it, ask forgiveness and promise never to do it againd and don't. It's pretty simple.

Now the other night on Charlie Rose they had two comissioners from the 9/11 commission on and at first it bothered me, but I listened to it and they both did a great job. It was Lehman and Roemer, a repub and dem. These guys did a very fair job and had some preliminary great ideas and Lehman made an excellant point. He said, how can a kid from Southern California infiltrate al Queda but an organization with billions and billions of dollars cannot.

Then you turn on the tv and find out that Thompson and another repub were meeting at the White House with White House Counsel. Now to me, that was out of line.
