My heart goes out to all the military members and their families.  I watch this safely at home and it just fills me with such dread for them . 

Soldiers really are amazing people.  They take a mission, may bitch about, may disagree with it, but they continue to complete that mission regardless.  I realize many people believe stereotypes of these young people, but to carry out what they are asked to do is truly astounding.

I just hope that all of these people realize that even those who oppose the Iraq war strongly support them and are angry with those who have pushed it this from the start. 

I hope others will go down and re-examine Peter T's posting of who are and aren't chicken hawks and see how many of those who have been the most outspoken on behalf of war are chickenhawks and that those who hate war the most seem to be those who have seen it firsthand.
