Well, word on CNN is we did not destroy the mosque only a wall near it but it does seem that the country has erupted and our soldiers are fighting street to street in at least 8 cities. This certainly seems aweful and I can only assume is going to lead to massive loss of life. It also makes the flight suit and "mission accomplished" stunt look that much more ignorant.
What's very frightening is that they can't seem to get a handle on just what forces have united and how many we are fighting. All I can say at the moment is shame on the Bush administration for showing such a lack of leadership, a lack of a plan, and allowing this situation to spiral out of control.
The rest of what I have to say at the moment would be far too obscenity laced to type here...
