To tell you the truth, I think that's kind of funny. I'm probably gonna shock some people here but on a personal level I think Bush is probably not a bad guy to hang out with. Meaning, he'd probably be cool to drink a beer with or have over to your house for a BBQ...I think on that level he's probably a decent guy to be around and I bet he could crack me up.
As a matter of fact my favorite Bush story...and had I been there for this I would have laughed my ass off...was when Bush jumped behind the counter at a little rib joint and started harassing members of the media to "spend their money and buy some food."
It's a great story and funny as hell and the two media guys he was on the hardest were acting like dickheads.
The thing is though as great a comedian as he is, and as personable as he is, and whether or not I'd like him as a beer drinking buddy have nothing to do with the fact that the guy is a train wreck as a president.
He is flat out not a leader. He knows nothing about leading and he is way way over his head as president of the United States. He delegates everything and does what others tell him to do and say. To some extent you have to rely on your advisors and surrounding cast...it's not a one man show...but what makes Bush a major problem is his surrounding cast are some of the worst people possible for their jobs and he goes with what they tell him.
Bush and his family are loyal people to those that have scratched their back and the fact is that loyalty in this case is a bad thing.
The main reason Bush is a danger to our country is because he is at the mercy of his crew and they are defining the agenda. Bush, as stated many times here, is the front man along for the ride.
