I thought that would be the story that everyone would be talking about. That's why I brought up the Sinclair story I didn't think it should get lost in the shuffle.
This is destroying the US in the Arab and Muslim world. We are being portrayed now as just another Saddam. The world was watching this time and the photos are everywhere.
Those poll numbers that they have been shopping around about what the Iraqis think of us are old. They overwhelmingly wanted us out of their country before this. Now our soldiers will all be seen in a negative light. The tension will mount and Iraq will explode.
The damage is done. I didn't think there could be a cut and run strategy for Iraq but it seems that we may now be heading in that direction.
Fallujah is something we seem to be indicating we don't have a handle on and now these photos. We're in a bad spot and a major shift is coming.
They see us as savages because of those photos and the rest of the world is going to get behind that. There's no slowing it down now.
