Well, I'll take what you had to say at face value Kevin G. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt there. I'll assume you are being honest and mean what you say and it's not just some bullshit meant to piss me off...then I'll calmly, peacefully and with a certain amount of sadness tell you, you are a liar.

No, you don't lie to me or others here on this board. We can see through those lies. You lie to yourself and anybody else that takes you even remotely seriously.

You have proven with that last post that you understand very little and you are not looking to find out any more. You fail yourself here, not me or others that visit this website, and perhaps you fail those who love and trust you in your own life.

Were I to make a list of the top 1000 things that plague this planet abortion wouldn't be on it. Do I see abortion as a sad decision when it is made? Of course. Do I see it as a burden to society? Not at all.

Now, about the God stuff. You say you are listening to God's urgings. That I find to be highly unlikely. Not because I don't believe in God or I don't believe he/she would talk to you but because I don't believe his/her messages would be so simply pointless and out there. You seem to have lost your way Kevin and pointing fingers at the rest of us is not going to excuse this fact. Not in my eyes and quite likely not in the eyes of God.

Not that I would ever claim to speak for God...yet we are all his/her vessels, no? So perhaps my words to you come from someplace...ahh...well...divine. Everything is God's will isn't it? We are his/her creation and function according to his/her sense of order no? There is that whole little question of free will and fate sure...but if God bought into your agenda and found abortion to be such an atrocity why would he/she not talk...urge...push...shove...scream...set a bush on fire...hmmm, burning bush, interesting turn of phrase there...to get this message across to the women who are going to get them. He's urging you, no?

Did you ever consider that these abortions are actually mercy killings? Rather than be born to a woman that doesn't want them, they go back to God before they have to get a taste of this cesspool of a world of ours. Is not his/her Kingdom better than our earthly existence?

There are torture chambers and rape rooms all over the world. There are all kinds of evil dictators on the loose as I type this to you. Women get raped in this country everyday. People die of starvation, including children and expectant mothers all over the world, even in the good ol' US of A. They get shot, stabbed, torn apart in all sorts of nasty ways. While you read this they are lining up 30 people somewhere to be shot because they are the wrong color, believe in the wrong God, or just to set an example to whoever might oppose the local warlord.

Anyone who stops to read this or has a sandwich before getting up off their ass to go do something about it is a hypocrite. We are all hypocrites. Anyone that is selfish enough to spend their time making a living doing anything aside from trying to stop each and every atrocity that is being committed, while you eat dinner or watch TV or mow the lawn or play with your kids...is a hypocrite.

Arguing about hypocrisy is like arguing about breathing...you may as well say we're all breathing more than our fair share of air. It's so damn ridiculous I can only laugh.

You tried to paint Ed as a hypocrite and you as this righteous defender of human rights and unborn children. That's insane. Hell, we're all hypocrites Kevin, but you are the worse kind. You try to hide your hypocrisy behind a God...behind words like freedom, democracy, human rights...and you judge the rest of us as if you are pure enough to do so.

If there is a God that passes judgment on us when we die expect a seat on the boat to Hell right next to me pal. I would think he/she would frown on your pious blathering.

To be clear, you bring no sense of balance with your arguments. You bring no logic or common sense either. You bring to the table a twisted, narrow and judgmental pile of hogwash that is truly pathetic. You don't "turn the tables"...you ignore what's on the table. You don't cause me grief or frustration, you make me concerned for how lost you are.

As far as I can see Kevin, you have little regard for "human rights" because you've put little thought into what that means.

This is not an attack on your beliefs or faith. This is an attack on the ignorance and arrogance you have chosen to display. You seem to have made a judgment that saving the unborn comes before and outweighs everything else. Who are you to make that judgment? Who are you to decide which life is worth more? You judge Ed and me and anyone else that voices concern about Iraq and the current administration and base your judgment of us on our stand on abortion. That makes no sense whatsoever.

We can't care for the children we have on this earth right now. Yet you would welcome many, many more unwanted and doomed children into lives of suffering with open arms.

We are hypocrites each and every one including you. Do you only shop in stores that are owned by people who don't believe in abortion? Do you only buy products that are made by people who don't believe in abortion? When you need a plumber or an electrician or a carpenter or mechanic do you ask if they are pro-choice or pro-life before you ask them to do the work? No, you don't.

You live a life of convenience Kevin just like all the rest of us. You are a hypocrite Kevin G just like the rest of us.

You ignore what's on the table, you ignore what's right in front of your nose, and you damn the rest of us. You are a liar Kevin G. You are not an honest man because you can't be honest with yourself. I know it's not an easy thing to do, being honest with yourself.

I'll tell you something honestly...which you can say what you want about me, at least I'm being honest...I'll take your photos of aborted babies any time over the photos from Iraq.

Why?

Because at least in my heart and soul I can find mercy in the abortion photos. Mercy for the babies that will not be born unwanted into suffering. Mercy for the women who for whatever reason chose that path. Mercy for their little souls who go blissfully unaware of the struggle, pain, and suffering of this world back to the arms of God.

In the Iraq photos I see only the hideous ugly side of mankind. There is no mercy there. It's us at our worst and we sure as hell should learn from it.

The issue is Kevin, you can't come up with anything but the abortion deal to justify your support of the Bush administration. So, no matter what we say you scream abortion. You have nothing else to say because there is no defense of these people. We don't make Bush look bad he does it himself. We just point it out when he does.

You are horribly lost Kevin.

By the way, I assume you meant the Democrats don't have a leg to stand on when it comes to human rights...it seems you need to study history as well as your bible as you have an amazingly poor grasp of both.

Yup, I'm probably a sucker for telling you all this but like you and your "abortion crusade"...I can't help trying to help someone that's so adrift and confused.

May God help you Kevin G. I mean that too.
