Been there a few times. Sorry to hear about the large brick wall you are confronting with the radio/music buisness! Many artist have still made it without radio play or major label bucks! Hang in there!!! We need artists like you in this world!!! So you were impressed with Beth Orton? I've been a fan since her debut, came out in the U.K. I'm having a hard time with her latest, but I'm sure it will grow on me. Check out her debut, "Trailer Park". It's more of a electronic afair, with some help from her early colaborator, William Orbit. A few years before his fame with Madonna. She has such a lovely voice! And Coldplay as well? I'm hearing that their new record is going to be a huge critical and commercial sucess. I do enjoy the first and most likely will buy the new one at the end of the month. You should check out a band called Travis, or maybe you have? I think they are much better than their "Radiohead lite" tag, people give them. "The Man Who" is one of my favorite records of all time, probably second to Van's "Astral Weeks". So now I stand corrected on some of my comments in the past. Writing reviews on websites do matter? Calling radio stations? -Then I shall give my two cents worth to sites like Amazon and make some phone calls to radio here in Phoenix! On a slightly un-related note: I tried to join the Lost Highway Street Team awhile back to no avail! Long, story, and I'm not bitching at you, but they treat fans like shit! Is there any way we could organize our own PR team here on this board? I could invest some serious time in this matter and I'm all too willing to help your career out in a productive way!

Cheers, Kevin.
