I know most people are fascinated by the events unfolding with the sniper shootings but isn't it way over the top? I can imagine some sicko looking at all the attention being directed toward the two killers and wanting some of it for themselves.
For those of you against the death penalty, would it trouble you a great deal to see them executed for what they've done?
Paul put out a request yesterday for some perspective from people who have some intimate knowledge of an actual execution. He was looking to hear from victim's families, wardens or even inmates themselves.
The people I'd really like to hear from no longer have a voice. I want to know what the store clerk was thinking as he handed over the $35 from the register and in return received 4 bullets to his chest, never to realize his dreams of marriage and a family.
It would be difficult to comprehend but I’d also like to hear from the woman who was abducted from a parking ramp, driven to a remote location, beaten and raped…scared senseless. Her life ended as her abductor slit her throat with a knife.
There’s isn’t the smallest part of my being which is curious to know what the ‘sniper’ in
I could go on but I suppose what I’m really saying is that I don’t care to hear what the killer on death row has to say. There’s really nothing they can tell me to explain away what they’ve done.
