Funny story...
Seems all is peaceful here in Massachusetts following our big transition into the world of same sex marriage. The people of the Commonwealth seem at ease. So, I'm driving my pickup truck and flick on the radio yesterday and all the news is same sex marriage. No big surprise. Station change...same thing...scan the dial more of the same...stop at the FM talk station...they are playing little bits of people's reactions..."I think it's great!"..."We've been together 18 years and finally!"..."Hey, if I have to suffer through marriage they should too!"..."Now that they can marry let's see if they still call themselves gay!"...jokes, happiness, peace, love...so I think it's all swell right!
Hang on to your hat...announcer says but we did find this woman who came a long way to protest ...cut to tape..."I flew all the way from Kansas to protest this because it makes me sick! You people should be ashamed of yourselves!"...interviewer asks "So what's the message you are telling these people today?"
The woman shoots back "You're all going to Hell! This is against God and what's in the bible!"
I'm sure she converted a few with that message. At least we get to put her back on the plane to Kansas. Now she'll just have to contend with the Larryville Kid! You've got a lot of work to do down your way there partner...I reckon it might take a while.
