Recall the furor of the right over Clinton's pardon of Marc Rich back in 2000-2001?  I point this out because back then I can remember the fervent blood seeking by the right over this idiotic move -  as if the republic was going to crumble and fall because horn dog Clinton pardoned the ex-hubby of one of his party girls.

My point is, here we have this scumbag Chalabi (whom I have been ranting about on this site for, oh, about a year and half) and not one peep out of the right about this piece of garbage.   Hell, the Neo-cons even are still preaching to his worthiness.

There are all sorts of little rumors out there about all sorts of things - for example, that Chalabi had his own private stash of Hoover-like FBI files on Washington insiders and pols and that those might have been one of many things sought out in the raid on his "home" in Iraq.

When history is finally written, Chalabi's shameful name will be right there along the names of Wolfowitz, Cheney, Feith, Libby, Powell, Rice and Bush....
