I've only had the Jet CD a day or two - bought a CD single of "Look what you've done" a while back to get a taste. JJJ play lots of Jet - I think the song "Are you gonna be my girl" topped the JJJ Hottest 100 for 2003, but I've also heard "Roll over DJ", "Last Chance" and "Cold hard bitch".

It's a strange CD - I can hear lots of different influences/sounds, from AC/DC to Led Zeppelin in the faster, rockier tunes; through to The GooGoo Dolls and Ben Folds Five in the quieter ballads.

Not sure if the disparity between fast and slow reflects different songwriters within the group, but it's almost bipolar in nature. I like it all! I like the voice, the lyrics and the beat. Buy it!
