In the last few days I've gone a bit crazy with the 'ol credit cards but if any of you are interested in what is now in my changer, here goes nothin'
Coldplay-A Rush of Blood to the HeadTracy Chapman-Let it Rain A great return to the production that made her 1st release so good.Aimee Mann- Lost in SpaceTom Petty- The Last DJ- A brilliant return with the Heartbreakers.Steve Earle- Jeruselem- Although this cd is a bit controversial due to the track "John Walker Blues"
Steve can convey his beliefs and observation on the state of the Union,as accurately as DBPeter Gabriel-Up-Several other posts were disappointed with this long awaited cd, I find it very introspective and sonically challinging.Ryan Adams-Demolition-DB's label mate has returned with a follow up to "Gold" well worth a listen.Mark Knopfler-Ragpickers Dream-A cd full of Knopflers trademark fingerstyle guitar playing. This really sounds like an album he wanted to make. No lame attempts to recreate "Dire Straits" or a contrived "Money For Nothing" type of songs.Check some of these out, they may be worthy of your Christmas wish list. Finally I'd gladly trade or make
copies of any of these CD's if anyone's interestedAll the best,
Kyle
