Has anyone else here had an experience with pissy, confrontive people at concerts in the past couple of years? It seems like every time I go to hear music-wherever and whatever the venue- there is some kind of verbal, testy confrontation.

People standing up (in their assigned seats of course) and the people behind them yelling at them to sit down; people pushing their way aggressively to the front of "standing-room only" festival seating venues. I've seen a half dozen situations in the past year that nearly came to blows- and this in "c'mon people now, smile on your brother" Seattle.

Is it because concerts are so crowded? Or that we pay so much for tickets and expect an unobstucted view? Or that we're all in a foul mood because of terrorism, our shitty jobs, and our crappy concert seat assignments?

Anybody else have this experience? I'm curious to hear from our friends overseas. Is it all of us or just America? Am I alone in this?
