I went to the Waukarusa Music Festival this weekend for free as a vendor working for Supersonic Music, sellin' drums.  I saw 40-20, Robbie Fulks, Keller Williams, Leftover Salmon, Butter Rum String Band, Jazz Mandolin Project, Chris Duarte, Monte Montgomery, Kaki King, Indigenous, Los Lonely Boys and the Drive By Truckers.   And none of those were the headliners.  I didn't stay after dark because I usually had my kids with me and I wanted em home at a decent bed time.

It was all in stark daylight, no light shows or weird stage antics...just playing music.  And I would have gladly paid the 150 bucks to get in had I not been given tickets first.  I tollerated the weirdos, bad drummers at our shop and stinging insects and really felt good about life when I left.
