June is generally an exciting and fun month for me.  My Birthday, father's day and lots of time at the pool with the kids to break up the month.  But I have a special announcement to make.  I'm leaving my current place of business and taking a new and exciting job.

4 years to the day after I started at my little shelter, I'm moving to start a new program which includes starting savings accounts for low income families. I'm not sure how the whole thing will work as it doesn't exist yet.  But I'll be writing grants, finding backers and hopefully helping folks save some money when they couldn't before.  So, I'm takin' off my old comfortable pair of jeans (kinda like the violence reference from earlier in the board) and trying out a new life.  I hope it doesn't chafe.
