Pat:
I have two MP3's which I downloaded from Tom Scholz's website --- I just checked the file creation date, and I downloaded them on 6/26/01 at 12:30am. So I have had these for a little over a year.
The two songs are Turn It Off and Someone.
Turn It Off was recorded before Brad Delp joined the band again, and I have no idea if it even the mix that will appear on the CD. Someone is absolutely Brad Delp and it is unmistakable.
You know, I support music that is from a time when music was less of a product. The music of today contains too much Aspartame, and you can hear it in these teen boy bands, enough to make a diabetic's ears bleed . . .
So, I will purchase Tom's new CD, simply because it isn't any of the newer Pro Tooled out lip-synchers.
If you are not into it, that's cool. There's a lot of rows in my local store, enough there for us all to enjoy.
I am also awaiting the arrival of the live DVD of OZRIC TENTACLES, a band that is pretty popular in Middle Earth. Pongmaster's Ball. Best jam band I have heard in quite awhile.
Peace and Prayers,
