This is a link to an article where the Army admits the toppling down of Saddam's statue was completely managed and fabricated. 

There is a wonderful book out there called "Weapons of Mass Deception" and in it the author points out that  much of the PR used in Iraq and other places is not primarily for persuading and maniplulating the minds of Iraqis or other people, but instead the mind's of US citizens.

And boy, that Saddam statue incident in the Iraqi square sure worked.  I can still remember all of the orgasmic ramblings of all my right winger friends back here in the ole US when the US pulled that statue down.
