One of the reasons I waited so long to finish the DVD was that I was holding out hope that I would get my hands on either the Ain't So Easy or Swallowed By The Cracks videos (or both!).  That didn't happen.  Well...not exactly.  I did get a copy of the SbtC video, but sadly the quality wasn't near good enough to use.  I took some screen captures of the video and I'm putting them here in this post.  I hope everyone is enjoying the videos that were part of the DVD set - and hopefully the next DB DVD installment will include the videos for Ain't So Easy and Swallowed by the Cracks....they're out there.....

Ok here are the screen caps.

Here's the MTV VJ introducing D+D - love the wacky orange D+D.

Then they do a little interview bit.  DB's joking about how a few months ago they were guitar players and now they're employers.

So the video starts with the action taking place in a strip club.  The first shot of DB is past this girl dancing around on stage.

The video jumps between D+D looking all happy and smiling on stage while the bar patrons all mostly look somber.  The video plays on the theme of lost youth...but it also shows a few people laboring away at jobs where they don't look very happy.  Did I mention that D+D are all smiles throughout...

Then the other David.

The video also prominently shows off this girl - Toni Childs.

Group shot on the stage.

This reminded me of the Glory Days video with Springsteen and Stevie Van Zandt.

And lastly, the obligatory MTV credits.

The video, by the way, is not in black and white as these pictures would have you believe.  The video was just so bad that the color flickered in and out and the b&w scenes looked the best.  So there you have it.  Now someone go and get a job at MTV/VH1 so we can get real copies of these videos...
