Just saw an amazing piece on CNN's Newsnight with Aaron Brown. It was on soliders who have returned from with Iraq with terrible, terrible burns and of their recovery. I wish I had it on tape because the soldiers profiled were an amazing bunch of American heroes. These soldiers had body parts burnt off, limbs burnt to the bone, no ears and noses, and each one had a remarkable spirit. Each one told how they would return to Iraq in a second to continue on. Which leads me to the abuse of faith in our government. People like this are examples of why democratic governments should tell the truth to its citizens - because its citizens want to have faith and believe in their government and are willing to fight and die for what they believe.How shameful the Bushies have taken this faith and have shattered it by their continuing abuse of it.
