k by the fact of how pleasant and civil the folks there were. I mean, people didn't jay walk, and in fact stepped back up on the curb when the blinker showed the Don't Walk symbol. That was in downtown Halifax. The Mrs thought it would be a great place to live, and I certainly liked the overall atmosphere of Nova Scotia. St John's was quite accessible as well. We had a very good time.

I have a partial idea of what accounts for the difference but would rather hear ideas from across the border. I for one am ready for a change, the Yukon has always appealed to me, too bad I am an countrified urbanite by birth.

And isn't it spelled 'aye(?)' instead of 'eh'? That does remain in the Scrabble Dict..
