It all seems a bit undignified when it goes public like this yet everything has a beginning and an ending...and an in between...not that this is relevant to the protagonists here but in Buddhism one is encouraged to treat the person who inflicts suffering on us as the Guru...they're giving us the opportunity to develop compassion and loving kindness...the very things that we find easy with the ones we love....like me and Brad have found a way through to a place of mutual respect and understanding (he's a numpty and I'm pretty dandy) so you could apply this approach if you decided to convert to THE TRUE RELIGION (only joking really....) ha ha ha
