I was wondering how you were (because I kept wondering where you'd gone). I remeber that bit in the Mountains of Moria when Gandalf was telling me not to be so quick to judge Gollum...I agree that at times the true meaning of something may lie way ahead...I've been scouring the shops for a book by Pema Chodron called Tonglen...it's a practice where you meditate to take on other people's suffering and exchange it for your good merit...I really can't make sense of any of the conflict here without thinking about Karma...I think Dan and Kent were married in a previous life...easy innit
