Hey Jeff, that's Rockin' man...loved it. 

The groove and melody of that song remind me of this great musician (you were probably in diapers then), named Richard Torrance. Interestingly he was from your neck of the woods.  Had a few albums out, but the one I loved the best was Eureka.  A true gem.  Recorded in 1978 on Shelter records (Leon Russel's briefly lived label).  There are a couple of tunes on that one that have similar inflection to your piece.  I don't think it's on CD though.  

I tried to find out what happened to him.  He is alive and well, and playing Vegas as a show musician.  

Well, you've motivated me to go dig up the vinyl and give it a spin tonight.   Great music Jeff, thanks for posting it.  Super groove..
