i've got an amen right here. anyone care to expand on EEE's reasonable and reasoned missive?

i myself just spent nearly three hours after work at a union meeting and it was lively. we go into contract negotiations in September for a five-year deal, and it's a biggie. as for the specific health care issue, it is increasingly an issue; we used to have lower deductibles and co-pays, now we have less coverage, higher and higher co-pays and deductibles, and now we also have monthly $55 payments just for our previously existing (and shrinking) coverage...etcetera etcetera.  i know health care costs in general are skyrocketing, but this is getting ridiculous.
