Dan, I suppose Bush upon hearing of the attack could have gone running from the room screaming 'we're under attack everybody, we're under attack' but he didn't do that.  Does that mean he was more focused on finishing the photo op?  I have no doubt that behind the view of the camera his staff was gathering the necessary information to take the appropriate action.  I think Bush was trying to convey a sense of calm and not panic.  I have no problem with that.  

Kerry chose to criticize Bush for sitting there for 7 minutes as though he was doing nothing.  That's a bit disingenuous don't you agree?  I didn't see the LKL episode.  Are you saying that Kerry didn't say what the Newsmax article said he said?  If he said he couldn't think for 40 minutes after the attack then I suppose by his logic he's a bigger idiot than Bush by a solid 33 minutes.  What am I missing?
