Start by reading the Newsmax article again...
If he said he couldn't think for 40 minutes after the attack then I suppose by his logic he's a bigger idiot than Bush by a solid 33 minutes.
Kerry did not say he couldn't think for 40 minutes and the article doesn't say he said that. It does try to imply that that was the length of time he couldn't think for by using the time between jets slamming into the buildings but as Dan said that was being replayed over and over all morning so who knows when Kerry saw this. Second Kerry states that right after he saw the second plane hit the building he heard the boom of a plane slamming into the Pentagon and then was told to evacuate. Kerry's life was in danger at that point and this seems to indicate Kerry and whoever he was with did respond quickly to a far more insane set of circumstances than sitting before a class reading "My Pet Goat."
It's a nice try by Newsmax but it's awful weak stuff and very silly. I expect that though because that's the business Newsmax is in...silly spin to make folks like Moore and Kerry look bad...get better sources Kevin.
