Kevin, YOU get over it! It's a joke, get it...don't be so fucking sensitive. I don't hate the French, and they don't all smell, obviously. But they were harassing him continuously during the race, and I don't mean just the few obnoxious fans on the sidelines, who may have been German (as you suggest). This was going on near his hotel room etc...They kept trying to tie him to doping and get him disqualified from the race.
